Photographs of people and scenery in India, mainly in and around Simla, Lucknow, and Agra, including views of the Himalayas, houses including Bonnie Moon near Simla, mosques and Buddhist temples, and Indians and British people in typical costume for the period. Also included are photographs of social occasions among the British, such as a tea party, people dressed for a costume ball, and the like. The British people shown were evidently friends of Rudyard Kipling or his family.
